Hey! All good - I designed this package to help!

Getting Off the Ground: We’ll have an initial meeting, where I’ll share a plan for reviewing, building, and revising the magic system for your book.

To Work! I will review the book in full looking for threads to use in building out your magic system. I will provide markups, questions, etc that will help us better tackle the framework of your novel.

The Journey: After that, we’ll meet 4x a month, for 3 months. I will be your wizardly mentor, young apprentice, walking you through the emotional journey of getting this magic system built and integrated into your story.

  • This phase includes homework assignments, with around 10 hours of work between our sessions.

Le Fin: At the end of our work together, you will have gone through your book at least 2x, and will have a functional, thoughtful magic system that integrates with your world’s culture and story. We will have a final meeting, where I will also deliver a final roadmap with next steps for you to take, a structured overview of your magic system, resources for future research, and a calendar (from researching agents to commissioning a map for your book.)
