Are you spinning your wheels trying to come up with cool spells for your game? Do you need another real, live (extremely nerdy) human to bounce your magical power ideas off of? Or maybe you need help brainstorming places to pull inspiration from (that aren’t like...existing cultures.)
Cool! I hear you, and I designed this package to help!
That’s why I do 80 minute “pick my brain” sessions, where we can tackle a specific question on the call. Here’s some things we could talk through:
Pulling Inspo: Where does the magic even COME from? We can brainstorm interesting sources for your world’s magic and research on the call.
Brainstorming: Spell cards are so much fun, but sometimes ya just draw a blank on what to name a spell, or how it works in practice. We can hash it out together.
Misc: Other magic related concerns that might be on the brain!
I don’t do any prep work for these kinds of calls, and there’s no follow up or deliverable document etc.
I’d recommend having a list of questions or the problem you want answered on the call, and you are responsible for keeping notes. We’ll workshop together on the call and tackle those questions. This session is 80 minutes.
